Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city situated outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash spent her childhood fishing and boating alongside her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish Ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather was born in Portugal and immigrated to the United States.



 From a young age, Kelly Nash was a lover of the Miami Marlins. While Nash was always enthusiastic about sports, she dreamed of being a news anchor. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications as well as Media Studies. In 2009, she graduated from Clemson University with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's soccer and baseball teams She was also awarded full athletic scholarships by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host featuring in multiple shows on the network , including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. Additionally, she is an NHL Network Studio host. She also appears on the Nightly Game recap show, On The Fly. The NHL Network hired her to join the MLB Network in March 2015. In 2015 she started contributing to the NHL Network.
